Injector Adapter and Connectors

Back in 1998, when no one had injector adaptors, Goran Bogdanovic found the speaker housing connector that fit the EV6 fuel injector to install into the F150 Ford truck with a VR4 supercharger. CPR RACING started to make the retro kit adapters EV1 to EV6, which were sold in their kits, for Paxton Automotive and the rest of the aftermarket shops. So when you need to upgrade your fuel injector and you have your factory wiring harness, you will need CPR RACING fuel injector adapters.

About electrical connectors:

• Jetronic is the older style connector, sometimes referred to by the Bosch generation EV1.
• The USCAR connector is sometimes referred to as EV6, which is a Bosch term for the generation of injector.
• Neither EV1 or EV6 is technically correct because those generations of Bosch injectors could come with either connector. However, most EV1’s commonly seen use the Jetronic connector, and most EV6’s use the USCAR connector so it’s easy to see the connection.
