You have many choices today when it comes to fuel injectors, often you will find the same injectors, one for a higher price and one for a great price that look identical. The truth is one is Chinese, and one should be the real thing from the OEM supplier.
So, what is the Difference?
The Chinese are experts at making inexpensive clones of OEM products. They look and feel just like what the actual manufacture makes. Sometimes the color may slightly vary, and the fitment will be a little extra tight when installing.
So, what is wrong with going Chinese vs spending a little more on the OEM replacement?
While the Chinese Fuel Injectors can look and feel just like the original manufactures product often the real difference is in the performance of the product. Besides cheaper seals and filters that will often fail early. You will generally find the Chinese flow rates do not keep up with the OEM and many will not flow at all at certain times which can be devastating to an engine.
