CPRRacing.com Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

CPR Product Warranty, Policy, and Procedure: Retail

All CPR products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. A valid warranty claim requires authentic, dated proof of purchase. This warranty applies exclusively to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable. It is available directly from CPR and not through any point of distribution or purchase.

If a defect is suspected, the retail purchaser must contact CPR directly to discuss the issue, explore possible solutions, and obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA), which is necessary to process the return. All returns must:

  • Be shipped freight pre-paid.
  • Include a valid RMA clearly marked on the package.

CPR will inspect any product returned with proper authorization to determine whether the failure is due to a defect, abuse, improper installation, misapplication, or alteration. Based on its findings, CPR will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or return the product.

Limitation of Remedies

If a CPR product is determined to be defective, the buyer’s exclusive remedy is limited to the value of the sale price of the product. Under no circumstances shall CPR be liable for incidental or consequential damages.

Please note: CPR fuel system components are not legal for sale or use on emission-controlled motor vehicles and are intended for off-road use only. For assistance with a warranty claim, contact CPR Technical Services at 248-294-7157 1002

CPR Product Warranty, Policy, and Procedure: Distributor

Products returned for warranty by a distributor or retailer customer must be returned to the place of purchase. The dealer must ensure proper RMA documentation and authentic proof of purchase from the customer. Authorized returns that qualify as “in warranty and defective” will NOT be processed for credit. Instead, they will be repaired, if possible, or replaced with rebuilt or new merchandise of equal performance and value.

Products returned that are determined to be:

  • NOT “defective,” or
  • NOT “in warranty”

will either be destroyed or returned as-is, upon the distributor’s request.

Stock Adjustments:
New product returns for stock adjustments are allowed annually. All returned merchandise requires prior approval from CPR and an assigned RGA number. Products returned for stock adjustment must be in perfect condition. Stock adjustments above 5% of annual sales orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee. All returns will be credited to the account; CPR does not issue cash refunds.
