I joined CPR Racing to bring a fresh perspective and help drive the company’s growth into new markets, new products, and new media.

I’m a gearhead at heart if it’s got wheels and horsepower, I’m into it. The faster, the better. But that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a classic. Case in point: the 1956 Packard Executive I’m leaning on in this photo. It drives like a boat, stops like a boat—but it has a charm that brings the same smile to your face as a Corvette or a 911. Every car has its magic.

Marty Merrifield has been pushing the boundaries of performance engineering since 1996. A pioneer in the Canadian racing scene, Marty was among the first to successfully convert turbocharged vehicles to run on propane—long before alternative fuels became a buzzword. His expertise in fuel systems, combined with his passion for innovation, has made him one of the most respected names in the field.

With a deep understanding of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) systems, Marty brings unmatched skill in dyno tuning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and real-world track testing. Whether it’s dialing in a forced induction street car or fine-tuning a race engine for peak efficiency, Marty’s precision and intuition consistently deliver results.

His capabilities don’t stop at tuning—Marty is also a master of engine harness design and repair, known for fabricating custom harnesses from scratch or restoring damaged wiring to OEM or better-than-OEM condition. When it comes to diagnosing electrical gremlins or designing clean, reliable harnesses for high-performance builds, Marty is in a league of his own.
